Welcome to the Surrey Plus Maths Hub

Surrey Plus Maths Hub is led by St John the Baptist School, Woking and runs a large programme of  Work Groups and events throughout the year with the aim of improving Maths teaching, leadership and professional learning practice to transform Maths education.

The Maths Hubs Network is the collaborative partnership of the 37 Maths Hubs across England, supported and facilitated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Important Notice re: Covid-19

In light of the Government announcement regarding the closure of schools and minimising gatherings and non-essential travel, we have postponed all planned Work Group sessions, school visits and events for the remainder of Spring Term and until further notice.

No doubt our focus, as yours, will be to staying safe and to our families, our students and colleagues to support them over the coming weeks.

We promise to keep in touch and update you on plans for rearranging postponed sessions or adding on additional sessions towards the end of Work Groups.
