Welcome to the Surrey Plus Maths Hub
Surrey Plus Maths Hub is led by St John the Baptist School, Woking and runs a large programme of Work Groups and events throughout the year with the aim of improving Maths teaching, leadership and professional learning practice to transform Maths education.
The Maths Hubs Network is the collaborative partnership of the 37 Maths Hubs across England, supported and facilitated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). It is part of the wider development of school-led, system leadership of education in England. Watch a short film about the work of the Maths Hubs here

Important Notice re: Covid-19
In light of the Government announcement regarding the closure of schools and minimising gatherings and non-essential travel, we have postponed all face to face Work Group sessions, school visits and events for the Summer Term.
At present we are investigating how we may be able to run workshops online using videos and/or webinars in such a way that they can be engaged with in a flexible manner that can fit in with everything else going on in people’s lives. We will be in touch after the Easter break with more information on this.
We are also looking at ways to continue to provide support for staff, schools and parents during this challenging time – please do contact us if you have any ideas.
If you would like any support, please do get in touch with us via mathshub@sjb.surrey.sch.uk and we will get back to you asap.
Keep safe and well,
The Surrey Plus Maths Hub Team
